Émile is a men's turtleneck sweater worked in a fine cable knit that runs in slender vertical ropes across the body and the sleeves. The knit is soft and fluid with a quiet matte surface, following the line of the body without restricting it. A high roll neck folds close at the throat, ribbed cuffs and hem hold the shape, and the trim cut sits as easily under a jacket as it does alone beneath a coat. Aveloire keeps Émile in rotation from the first cold evening through the end of winter, with attention to proportion and nothing added for effect.
