Émile is a long single-breasted overcoat in a densely woven blend with a faint surface texture that catches light rather than reflects it. The cut runs straight from the shoulder, and a notch lapel above a concealed placket leaves the front line unbroken. It stays light on the body and resists creasing through a long day, over a turtleneck, a shirt or a thin sweater. Aveloire made Émile for the man who reads restraint as the point.
