Henri is a men's cable knit turtleneck built around columns of raised diamonds that run the length of the front and back, edged by narrow ropes that catch the light and hold the shadow. The knit is soft and springy, worked at a medium gauge dense enough to keep its shape through the season. A high ribbed roll neck sits close at the throat, while ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem close the silhouette at the hip. Aveloire cuts Henri to sit near the body rather than over it, so it layers under a heavy coat as easily as it stands alone with flat-front trousers. It is a piece for cold mornings in the country and for long lunches that run past the light.
